Plant-based burger patties
Recipe type: Mains
  • 400g plant based mince
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs*
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 5-6 button mushrooms, finely chopped
  • 3-4 sundried tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 140g apple puree*
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  1. Add all ingredients in a large bowl and combine with your hands.
  2. Divide into as many patties or burgers as you like.
  3. Cook on an oiled frypan until brown on both sides and warmed throughout.
• Check breadcrumbs ingredients. You’d be surprised by what you find in breadcrumbs and you’ll ask yourself “Why?”
• 140g apple puree are those small snack packs for kids
• I make mine in the morning & keep in the fridge until ready for cooking to help the flavours seep through the patties
