Sticky Cauliflower

  • 1 extra-large cauliflower
  • ¼ cup cornflour
  • 1 cup beer
  • ⅓ cup soy sauce
  • ⅓ cup rice malt
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  1. Pre-heat oven to 200oC
  2. Break cauliflower into large florets. The cauliflower will shrink in the oven so be mindful of this
  3. Toss through the cornflour & arrange, single layer, on a lightly greased baking tray
  4. Combine the beer, soy sauce, rice malt, garlic powder & salt in a jug. Pour over the cauliflower, ensuring all is coated
  5. Bake for 30-40 minutes, (depending on the size of the pieces you have opted for – test tenderness by piercing the thickest piece with a knife) turning once hallway through baking & re-basting with marinade
